Edit Shape▶
Target Body
Heal Geometry
Sews open shells, fixes invalid edges/faces, and promotes open shells to solids. Run this first on messy or imported geometry to improve meshing success.
Merge Smooth
Dissolves edges between co-planar or smoothly-curved adjacent faces within the angle tolerance.
15°
Group Surfaces
Combines selected faces into one named entry for BC assignment. No geometry change.
Fuse Geometry
Fuses selected faces that lie on the same underlying surface into one face.
Extract Co-Volume
Creates all disconnected fluid domains found from openings in the Target Body. Optionally pick a wetted surface to extract only that passage.
Split by Size
Cuts faces larger than the threshold with axis-aligned planes to control mesh density.
Split at Bends
Inserts face boundaries wherever adjacent faces exceed the bend angle.
30°
Shrink Wrap
Creates a watertight faceted exterior envelope for CFD cleanup. Voxelated is the saved baseline; feature conforming snaps to sharp CAD features.
Edit Mesh▶
Translate
Move the mesh by an offset along X, Y, Z.
Rotate
Rotate around an arbitrary axis through the mesh centroid.
deg
Mirror
Reflect the mesh across a coordinate plane.
Copy
Duplicate the mesh with an optional translation offset.
Split Boundary
Segments a single imported boundary into multiple surface tags so different BCs can be assigned to each — by max size or by bend angle, same as CAD Split by Size / Split at Bends.
30°
Move Node
Pick a single mesh node and set its exact position.
—
Morph
Select mesh patches, assign displacement or fixed, then morph the interior.
Assign Boundary
vars: x, y, z | xmin/max, ymin/max, zmin/max | r=√(x²+z²) | sin, cos, sqrt, pi…

Local Refinement (optional)
Refine a specific surface below the global max size. Surface tags come from a prior mesh's result — mesh once, then add overrides here and re-mesh. Requires Max size above.

Neural Inference
No trained surrogate models yet. Sweep a model and train one with the
Sweeps & Surrogates journal workflow (see Documentation).
Surrogate What-If
Drag a slider for an instant prediction.
Set up your model as usual (import/create, mesh, assign BCs), pick the
closest pretrained model above, and drag the parameter sliders —
fields are predicted instantly on your mesh. Results are fully
post-processable in the Post tab like any FE, FV, or PINNs solution.
Post Processing
Run FEM to enable post-processing.
